Quest Thread - Make This Place Hold

Scope​

This is the canonical design owner for Make This Place Hold. It records the late-threshold Act 0 thread that converts discovered structure into stabilization work and carries the act to its end state.

Identity​

  • Parent Act Arc: ../acts/gd-act-0-arrival-and-core.md
  • Reveal gate: appears only after the player has earned language beyond pure observation and has a practical reason to commit to the ruin.
  • Knowledge framing: Discovered -> Confirmed

Mission Ladder​

  • Establish The Core

End-State Rules​

  • Establish The Core completes Act 0.
  • Establishing the Core does not create the first Settlement.
  • Settlement remains locked for later acts.

Design Boundaries​

  • This thread owns stabilization work and earned late-threshold naming.
  • It does not rewrite the act boundary that keeps Core, Camp, Settlement, and Realm-scale play distinct.
